In January of 2021, independent filmmaker Alexander Hagani founded NORTH130 to produce his short film, “Valid Glitter”.
In the Summer of 2022, Alexander produced/directed/wrote his next short film, “Top Shot” under his NORTH130 banner.
In the Summer of 2023, Alexander used N130 to produce/direct/write his first commercial, a Spec Ad for the New York Knicks.
In the Winter of 2024, Alexander directed, produced, and co-wrote the “Space Boogie” music video for Genie the Band under N130.
In the Summer of 2024, Alexander directed/wrote/produced another short film, titled “The Actor” for N130. The film is expected to hit the festival trail in 2025.
The name NORTH130 is an homage to Alexander’s filmmaking roots in NYC.
“Valid Glitter” premiered in September of 2022 at the Greenpoint Film Festival and then went on to screen at the 20th Annual Tallgrass Film Festival in Wichita, Kansas, and the 39th Annual Chicago International Children’s Film Festival (an Academy Award Qualifying Film Festival) in Chicago, IL.
“Top Shot” premiered in November of 2023 at the Academy Award Qualifying, St. Louis International Film Festival and has screened at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival and the PROOF Film Festival.
“They’re Back!,” Alexander’s Spec for the New York Knicks was released in October of 2023, and has amassed over 250K views online.
“Space Boogie” will be released in September 2024.

MEET ALEX
Alexander Hagani is a New York City native and award-winning filmmaker who draws inspiration from his personal experiences. His passions lie in telling stories that encompass the coming-of-age, sports, and dramedy genres.
Alexander started NORTH130 (N130 for short) to produce and create moving stories while striving towards the long-term goal of creating long-form narrative content (whether that be feature films or television).
Since 2021, Alexander and N130 have produced short films, spec ads, music videos, and feature-film treatments and scripts.
